We explore how narrative--telling, sometimes as a story but sometimes as a chronicle or report--is developing in the digital age. Our focus includes but is not limited to games, digital cinema, mobile apps, interactive media, immersive environments, virtual worlds. We are interested in the experiences of narrative in new media, some of which are the same as with traditional media, and some of which offer new kinds of reading, spectatorship, play, and participation.

Welcome to LHUM P433: Digital Narrative Theory & Practice
This is the course blog for both sections of Digital Narrative for Spring 2012. We also have our shiny new LMS to play with, as part of the pilot group, so we'll see what this tool is good for. I am imagining some communication between the two sections and also using it as our public representation on the web, if we want that.
